Microstructure Evolution, Mechanical Properties, and Corrosion Resistance of Hot Rolled and Annealed Ti-Mo-Ni Alloy

The effects of annealing time on microstructure, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni (TA10) titanium alloy hot-rolled sheets are investigated. With the increase in time, α → β phase transition occurs, grain size grows gradually. strength deteriorates, elongation increases. grains grow up, number boundaries decreases, intergranular decreases. kinetics thermodynamics enhanced. When annealed at 780 °C for 2 h, TA10 exhibit best comprehensive its microstructure is composed fine equiaxed phase. properties improved.
